India opt to field first against Pakistan

India opted to field first against archrival Pakistan in their high-voltage match of World Cup Cricket 2023.  

The two superpowers in world cricket will face each other in the 12th match of the World Cup at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday at 2:30 PM.

India opener Shubman Gill returns to the team who did not play the first two matches of the World Cup due to his dengue positive. However, he is making his World Cup debut today with this match against Pakistan. However, Ishan Kishan has been dropped from the Indian XI.

On the other hand, Pakistan is entering the field with an unchanged eleven in the fight against the arch-rivals. Abdullah Shafiq, who scored a century in the debut match against Sri Lanka, is again in the eleven in place of Fakhar Zaman.
