Top order batter Najmul Hossain Shanto will lead the Bangladesh cricket team in Test series against New Zealand scheduled to be start from November 28.
Confirming the matter, Jalan Younus, the chairman of cricket operations committee of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), said to the reporters, “Shanto will lead the Test series against New Zealand.
The regular captain of the team will miss out the series due to injury. Liton Das was to do captaincy in this series. However, as he’s on the vacation due to family purpose, Shanto has been selected as new captain to lead the country in 2-match Test series.Bd-pratidin English/Lutful Hoque
