Bangladesh Under-19 clinched their maiden ACC Under-19 Asia Cup title when they demolished the UAE by 195 runs in the final at the Dubai International Stadium on Saturday.
Batting first, Bangladesh collected 282 runs in 50 overs by losing 8 wickets.
Opener Ashiqur Rahman Shibli scored 129 runs off 149 balls while top-order batter Chowdhury Md Rizwan scored 60 runs from 71 balls and middle-order batter Ariful Islam smashed 50 runs off 40 balls.The UAE bowler Ayman Ahamed bagged 4 wickets and Omid Rahman got 2 wickets.
In the second innings, the UAE wrapped up by 87 runs in 24.5 overs.
Maruf Mridha and Rohanat Doullah Borson bagged 3 wickets each while Md Iqbal Hossain Emmon and Parvez Rahman Jibon got 2 wickets each.
