Bashundhara Kings has become the champions in Swadhinata (Independence) Cup football tournament defeating Mohamedan SC by 2-1 on Monday afternoon at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium of Gopalganj.

Rafiqul Islam of Bashundhara Kings got red card at the beginning of second half in the final match. Then, the team became a team of 10 men, even conceded a goal a little later of this red card incident. However, they didn’t give up and managed to score the equalizer in 51 minutes as Rakib found the net with the threw received from Robson.

This is the third time Bashundhara Kings clinched the championship of Swadhinata Cup.
