In the last match of ODI series against New Zealand held at Napier on Saturday morning (Bangladesh time), Bangladesh defeated New Zealand by 9 wickets.
It was the first ODI win of the tigers in New zealand.
Earlier, Bangladesh lost the first two matches of the series. But, they got a convincing win in last match to get a consolidation victory.Winning the toss, Bangladesh elected to field first. Due to immaculate bowling of Bangladeshi bowlers, the host was all out for just 98 runs.
Tanzim Sakib took 3 wickets for just 13 runs, Shoriful Islam took 3 for 22, while Somya Sarker took other 3 for 18 runs.
In reply, Bangladesh chased down the target by losing just 1 wicket. Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 51 off just 42 balls.
