Bangladesh equaled the three-match T20 series as the host beat visiting Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in the second game at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.   

In response, Sri Lanka’s 165 runs, Tigers scored 170 runs in 18.1 overs by losing 2 wickets.

Matheesha Pathirana bagged two wickets.     

In the first innings, Sri Lanka posted 165 runs in 20 overs by losing 5 wickets.

Lankan batter Kamindu Mendis scored highest 37 runs off 27 balls while Kusal Mendis smashed 36 runs off 22 balls and Mathews scored 32 runs from 21 balls. 

Taskin Ahmed, Mahedi Hasan, Mustafizur and Soumya Sarkar bagged one wicket each.

Najmul Hossain Shanto has become the player of the match.
