Tigers to chase 113 runs against South Africa

Bangladesh will have to chase South Africa’s 113 runs in their second match of the group stage in the T20 World Cup at Nassau County Cricket Stadium in New York, United States on Monday.    

Choosing to bat first, South Africa scored 113 runs in 20 overs by losing 6 wickets.    

Middle-order batter Heinrich Klaasen scored highest 46 runs off 44 balls while David Miller scored 29 runs from 38 balls.   

Wicket-keeper batter and opener Quinton de Kock smashed a superb 18 runs off 11 balls.

Tanzim Hasan Sakib bagged 3 wickets while Taskin Ahmed got 2 wickets and Rishad Hossain got one wicket.

Both South Africa and Bangladesh are unbeaten so far in the competition, having pulled through Sri Lanka who many might consider as the only real other challenger for the Super Eights.
